What Families Invest
Family portrait sessions begin with a $300 Session Fee.
After viewing your slideshow reveal, you'll choose the portrait collection that best fits your family.
Most families invest between $675 and $1025 in their finished portraits.
Whether you're looking for a handful of favorite images or every portrait from your session, there's an option designed to fit your needs.
Family Portraits That Feel Like Your Family
The best family photos rarely happen when everyone is standing perfectly still, smiling directly at the camera.
They happen when your daughter decides to tell a story halfway through a hug. When your son makes everyone laugh. When a toddler insists on leading the way down the path. When grandparents forget they're being photographed and simply enjoy being together.
My job isn't to force those moments.
My job is to notice them.
I'll guide you every step of the way so your session feels relaxed, natural, and surprisingly fun, even for the family member who wasn't entirely convinced this was their idea.
Why the Slideshow Reveal?
There's something different about seeing your portraits as a story rather than a grid of thumbnails.
That's why every family portrait session includes a slideshow reveal.
Instead of scrolling through hundreds of tiny images, you'll experience your portraits the way they were meant to be seen: together.
Many clients tell me it's their favorite part of the entire process.

What should we wear?
The short answer? Wear something that feels like you.
I always encourage families to dress comfortably and in a way that allows them to move, sit, snuggle, carry kids, and generally enjoy themselves. Neutral colors, soft textures, and layers tend to photograph beautifully outdoors, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident.
Try to avoid clothing that needs constant adjusting or anything so formal that you're afraid to sit on a blanket, walk through a field, or pick up a toddler.
My favorite family portraits aren't about what people wore. They're about how they felt while they were together.
What if my child doesn't cooperate?
Then they'll fit right in with every other child I've photographed!
Seriously.
One of the biggest misconceptions about family portraits is that children need to "behave" in order for great photographs to happen. They don't.
Some children arrive ready to perform. Others need time to warm up. Some want to explore. Some want to be carried. Some want absolutely nothing to do with me for the first ten minutes.
All of that is normal.
In fact, I often tell parents to let the children lead a little. Some of the sweetest moments happen when kids are allowed to be curious, playful, and completely themselves.
Your job is not to get everyone looking at the camera.
Your job is to enjoy being together.
My job is everything else.
And if all of my magical powers with children suddenly stop working on your family specifically, I'll ask for backup.
Can grandparents, extended family members, or even the dog join us?
Absolutely.
Family portraits are about preserving relationships, and some of the most meaningful sessions include grandparents, extended family, or the family dog.
If you'd like additional family members included, just let me know when we're planning your session so I can recommend the best location and timing.
As for dogs, well-behaved pups are always welcome and frequently steal the show.
When will we see our photos?
About 2–3 weeks after your session, you'll receive a slideshow reveal of your portraits.
Rather than sending a gallery full of tiny thumbnails, I want you to experience your images as a story first.
When your slideshow is ready, we'll schedule a time for you to watch it together. After the reveal, you'll choose the portrait collection that feels right for your family.
Once you've selected your collection, your gallery will open and you'll be able to choose your images, download digital files, and order artwork.
Many families tell me the slideshow reveal ends up being their favorite part of the entire experience.
