Using professional lighting and minimalist sets, the focus will be on your child's personality. Sibling sessions also available.

Pop-Up Studio Portraits for Kids

Modern, expressive portraits of your children, individually and together.

For a limited time, Nicolas in Pelham will become my portrait studio for a special series of sessions created just for kids.

These short, focused sessions are an opportunity to make a beautiful portrait of each child and, when there is more than one, the sibling portrait you’ve been meaning to get for years.

Using professional studio lighting and a simple backdrop, I’ll create clean, modern portraits that keep the attention exactly where it belongs: on your children. Your finished images will include both rich color and timeless black and white.

How much does it cost?

The session fee for individuals is $175 per child. Sessions last 15-20mins. For just a sibling portrait, the fee is $350. Sibling portraits last up to 30mins. (Tap right to learn more!)

Full download of curated images from your session.
BONUS: I’ll upload all of the images to Minted.com where you can customize your own unique design for holiday cards and other beautiful gifts. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to book a session.
But I just want a portrait of my kids TOGETHER...

I get it. You’ve asked all year but they haven’t sat still for you. You need that one picture of them all together for the annual card.
For just a sibling portrait, the fee is $350. Sessions last 30 mins and may include individual portraits if there’s time and kids are willing. 4 kids or less.

Do Not Stress

I speak kid. From toddler to teen, I’ve been posing and prompting young people for nearly 8 years and I know when to guide them— and when to let them be. Silliness is totally allowed.
Practice Being Yourself

Kids do so much better when they know what to expect. Tell your child about their photoshoot but please don’t make them practice “smiles.” It’s too much pressure! instead let them be themselves. They may bring a small, meaningful item like an instrument or favorite toy. Comfort is key in capturing natural smiles!
Timeline

7-10 days after our session you’ll receive two emails.
1. The first will be an invitation from Minted.com where you can design and order products using images I’ve uploaded from your session.
2. The second email will come from me and it will contain a link to view and download your images.
The Look

The studio will feature a large white seamless backdrop which is great for head-to-toe images.
I’ll also offer a black backdrop where I’ll capture a quieter, close up “fine art” look.
Your gallery will have lots of variety since I deliver in both color and black and white.
Also, expect some images in your gallery to be horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait).
Please note that my sets are free of props. Besides a stool or apple box, you can expect the focus of these portraits to be on your child’s personality!
