Using professional lighting and minimalist sets, the focus will be on your child's personality. Sibling sessions also available.

For a limited time, Nicolas in Pelham will become my portrait studio for a special series of sessions created just for kids.
These short, focused sessions are an opportunity to make a beautiful portrait of each child and, when there is more than one, the sibling portrait you’ve been meaning to get for years.
Using professional studio lighting and a simple backdrop, I’ll create clean, modern portraits that keep the attention exactly where it belongs: on your children. Your finished images will include both rich color and timeless black and white.
Confident
I speak kid. From toddler to teen, I’ve been posing & prompting young people for a decade & I know when to guide them— and when to let them be.
Playful
Tell your kids about their photoshoot but don’t make them practice smiling. It’s too much pressure! Let them be themselves. Silliness is totally allowed.
Cool
Time flies. I know how to stop it. Kids grow up fast & portraits mark the years. Tell your big kid to chill, bruh, this isn't school picture day. It's a chance to show off who they are & who they're becoming.
Beautiful Light Is Only Half the Job
I photograph children, families, and professional headshots, so I bring a particularly useful combination of experience to these sessions: I know how to light a face, and I know how to help a kid forget there’s a camera in front of it.
There will be direction, but no demand for a fixed smile. Children can be sweet, serious, silly, skeptical, or some rapidly changing combination of all four. My job is to make them comfortable enough for their real personality to come through.
Individual Portraits and Siblings
Bringing one child? Perfect. We’ll create a varied collection of individual portraits.
Bringing siblings? I’ll photograph them together and create individual portraits of each child, too. You’ll come away with images that celebrate who they are on their own and the relationship they share.
A Pelham Favorite Returns
Some Pelham families may recognize this portrait style from sessions I offered locally years ago. I still hear from parents who have those photographs framed in their homes, which is exactly why I’m bringing the experience back.
